For National, International and Intercontinental horsetransport, we offer you, in co-operation with Equipe Horse Insurance, a special insurance for horses during transport.
Expenses for insurance: (% of worth value)
Inside EU and USA with truck or trailer 1%
Outside EU and USA with truck or trailer 2 %
Transport by boat + 0,25 %
Transport by airplane + 0,25 %
Quarantine >3 days p period + ,25 %
De minimal net insurance premium is € 75,00
Insurancepolicy expenses are € 11,00
Insurance tax + 7,5 %
Handling costs + 2 %
Take cover from:
The risk of death by desease or accident is covered from the moment the horse is loaded, till the moment the horse arrives at destination.
If a horse becomes sick during transport and dies within 5 days, this insurance also take cover from this situation. A copy of the health certificate is needed and has to be send in.
